Funeral

Please notify us of a funeral as soon as possible after the death. This will allow us to prepare a dignified funeral service.

Required documents

• Death certificate from the Civil Registry Office.
• Medical certificate of death, if the funeral is to take place at the cemetery on Orkana Street.
• A document confirming that the deceased received the sacraments, for example a prayer card from the hospital chaplain.

Masses after the funeral

We celebrate five of the Mass intentions requested in connection with the funeral in our parish, and pass the remaining intentions on to priests outside the parish.

Please contact the parish office one week after the funeral for information about the dates of these Masses.
